NLC KIDS

  • At NLC Kids, every child will be given an opportunity to encounter Gods love and presence. Your children will be welcomed to participate in a time of worship, a Bible lesson, activities, and prayer.

What type of curriculum do you use?

We use a curriculum called Grow.

Grow employs 4 strategies for teaching your children:

    1. Spend time with God

    2. Spend time with others

    3. Use your gifts

    4. Share your story

We love your children and desire to create a safe and presence filled environment where God’s love is poured out.

  • Welcome to NLC Kids!

When you arrive, please stop by our check-in station before dropping off your children for service. Make sure your family’s information is up to date in the computer system, then print a name tag for your child and a parent tag for pickup. Before heading to classrooms, we ask that you take your child to the restroom. This helps our service time run smoothly. Our friendly greeters are nearby and happy to answer any questions you might have—just let them know how they can help! At pick-up time, please have your parent tag ready. The minister in your child’s classroom will match your tag with your child’s name tag before checkout. If you have children in multiple rooms, you’ll need to show your parent tag at each classroom.

Thank you for helping us keep NLC Kids a safe and welcoming place!

Can I drop off my child after service begins?

We will be accepting kids until 20 minutes after service begins. If for any reason you need to leave service early, please let the Minister in your child's room know beforehand.

  • How does someone become a minister for NLC Kids?

Each person who ministers in NLC Kids has had a background check and has gone through training. There is ongoing training several times a year.

  • Can siblings attend the same service together?

No, each space is set up for age- appropriate Worship Time, Bible Lesson and Activities. We at NLC Kids strongly encourage each child to attend their specific rooms so they can receive all God has for them in an environment focused for their age of learning.

What happens if your child is having a difficult time in service?

If your child is having considerable difficulty, we ask that you have your phone with you as we will text you and ask you to come after 15 minutes after drop off and support your child. Our goal is that every child would be able to acclimate, but we also know how difficult it can be for a child to adjust to a new environment.

Can I use the nursery to change my child’s diaper if they do not attend service?

No, due to security issues, we ask that you use the Nursing Mother’s Room on the east side of the building in the foyer area. It will be stocked with diapers and wipes for your convenience.

NLC Kids check-in begins 15 minutes before the service (8:45am and 10:45am Sun). You are welcome to drop off your child(ren) 10 minutes before service begins.

NLC Kids believes that we are called to support parents in training up their children to know the Word, live by the Spirit, and know their identity in Him. At NLC, the kids are given the opportunity to experience God's presence through Spirit-led worship, prayer, and our lesson time. We believe God is calling your children to walk in spiritual maturity from a young age!

Here at NLC Kids, your children are in safe hands. Every minister goes through a background check prior to serving, and we have a thorough check-in process to make sure that only you can pick up your child.
