We've had a lot of children and youth express a lot of interest in getting baptized, and we want to honor that wonderful and exciting decision. So we're holding an impromptu and rather sudden baptism service to meet this need!

We have new life to celebrate! In the book of Romans we are told that just as our Lord Jesus died and was raised again, we "also must consider yourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus." Baptism is a physical act that we can share with our church family as witnesses to our resurrection. As our Father transforms us we leave our old identity behind, and with it our sin! Hallelujah, we arise a new creation! 

We'll have a quick, mandatory class beforehand for these youth and kids so there will be no doubt about this radical life-changing decision!

Lastly, we do know this date coincides with the Superbowl, unfortunately the 12th is the best day on our busy schedules to be able to provide this service. We don't expect the service to interfere in any way with the game, and we hope to see everyone there to celebrate these dedications to new life!
