Alan & Gail Hawkins

Alan Hawkins – Senior Pastor

Alan has been in ministry since 1977, including over 20 years in the Southern Baptist Convention. He is a graduate of Mississippi College and holds seminary degrees from Mid-America and Southeastern. In the late nineties, a deeper revelation of God through profound encounters with the Holy Spirit showed Alan his path forward, and Alan started a non-denominational, Spirit-filled church that would become New Life City. He is now living his dream of pastoring a family of believers dedicated to strong biblical teaching, a high value for worship, a heart to bless the nations, and the pursuit of life in the Holy Spirit. He and his wife Gail have three children and six grandchildren.

Gail Hawkins – Associate Pastor

Gail felt a call to ministry at the age of 12. She and Alan entered into full-time ministry shortly after getting married and graduating Mississippi College.  After many years serving as a pastor’s wife, she was called to attend the Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry in 2006-07, where she had a personal revelation that God had called her to be a mother to many, and it is where she became known affectionately as “Mama Gail.”   She joined the New Life City staff upon returning back to Albuquerque.  Gail’s great passion is to help others learn, as King David did, to strengthen themselves in the Lord.  Her greatest joy is being mother to the NLC family and encouraging them to grow in their relationships with one another and with Jesus.
