I am thankful for a little Vacation Bible School that I went to with a friend when I was 11 years old in Lubbock. It was at that event that I learned about Jesus for the 1st time & on Thursday night, I accepted Jesus into my heart. By God’s providence, I was born in a Christian home and it was a priceless gift since my father was a pastor in a small evangelical charismatic community in the French Alpes.  When I was six I had a radical encounter with Jesus, where His Spirit came over me and filled me with His love. His power came over me and I spoke in tongues praising my Savior. Great faith and passion for Jesus was ignited in my heart, and I was set, I was going to be a Pastor, preach the Gospel, heal people and serve my God, I wanted nothing else. I have been walking with Jesus since I was seven years old.  Born and raised a preacher’s son in Texas, I felt the call of God on my life for ministry at the age of 12.  I also fell in love with music at a very young age and consider it to be one of my favorite delights of God’s creation.  My father was (and is) a music enthusiast, and my mom often sang special numbers at church with the voice of an angel.  Continue reading “Chuck Elmore” »

About me…by Gail Hawkins

I married the man of my dreams and we quickly were called to ministry.  In fact, I felt called to be a missionary at the age of 12.  I am thankful for the Christian upbringing I had with wonderful parents.  My father passed away on my 11th birthday, which became a point of pain in my life that God would heal 33 years later.
